I'm out of training

Hey what's up everyone, this week was crazy awesome! Let's get straight into it.

Transfer news:
So we got the transfer news and I'm super excited because I get to stay here in franco! Franco is super awesome and I just really love the people. They are so kind and I love talking with them it's super fun. I'm also out of training technically, i'm finally starting to get the hang of it in this place and I'm loving the work it is so much fun!

Drunk guy:
we come across drunk people all the time but this guy in particular wouldn't let go of my companion and kept saying that he was his brother in christ it was kinda funny but i felt bad for the guy. he also said that he knew english but when he spoke it was just gibberish and random sounds it was wacky. When he was done telling us that he loved us, We told him that Jesus loved him and that we had things to do but he still wouldn't let us go. We eventually just started walking away, and after a couple steps he totally forgot what he was doing and just kept walking like nothing happened.

People we are teaching:
We went to this lady's house and the more we started to talk to her, the more questions she started to ask. It got to the point where she hit almost every single principle! We taught her the first lesson and gave her the Book of mormon. When we came back, we found that she had read the first two chapters of Nepi and she was ready to sit down and learn more. In that lesson we put a date for her to be baptised. So in the span of two days we found someone that wanted to be baptised it was incredible. She also had health problems that made her standards all line up with the church; I thought that was wonderful. We are also teaching this lady that we thought wasn't too committed but when we came back from giving her a book of mormon she said "oh by the way i read all the way to first nephi 17" and my comp and i just looked at each other just super surprised and we told her how awesome that was and later we got to teach her a lot more. we might put her on date soon.

Shower thought:
I'm noticing that a lot of the commandments that God has given us aren't to restrain us or keep us back, it's to help us grow in the best way possible. For example the word of wisdom tells you not to drink or smoke not because he is keeping you back for no reason, Its because if you did drink or smoke, it extremely unproductive and keeps you from growing at all because you´re wasting your time and money on something rather than trying to be better. And that's only the start of it because there are so many blessings that you would miss out on as well. I've also noticed that it's really easy to be an unproductive missionary, but I have found motivation in several aspects to keep me motivated. My companion is a big example of this.

Thank you all for all that you do, you are all incredible!

Hey what's going on, I'm finally back ready to start, so let's do this! I'll just hit all of the main points and then go into the most important details later.  •We had 2 baptisms •our new mission president gave us some awesome changes  •got talked to a drunk guy that REALLY wanted to play basketball but he looked like he was about to fall over • A crazy lady that showed up to church with a burnt book of mormon and bible, and she was dancing, singing, and throwing stuff during church and on top of that she would speak to you in guarani, spanish and portuguese. AAAAANNND she wanted a picture with me so i got a picture with her (picture below) •we are supposed to work on facebook for 20 minutes a day from now on and we have to find people. The cool thing is the two baptisms we have had were from online work from other elders that sent us the reference. Joseph's last supper!

Joseph decided that he wanted to go to Wasabi for his last supper and then real life happened and we had to shift plans and have grub hub deliver five guys to the house.  It turned out really fun though because after we ate, we played maki in the backyard and then everyone piled on the trampoline to bounce off some of those calories.  Just so you know, maki means lemur in Malagasy.  We usually play horse or pig, but instead we used the word maki to play "horse", because it's just so much cooler and fun that way!   Joseph is the fun in our house and we are really going to miss that dynamic when he is gone!  We also went mini golfing a few days later and it was fun to just spend time together.  We didn't keep score and we just decided to goof off and have fun.  Lucy played several holes in front of us the entire time and Joseph helped her get a hole in one on the last hole.  He's always so giving and kind to everyone!

Oh hello there!

Hey what's up everyone, i don't have a ton of time (basically becoming the usual) but anyway this week was great, I had a lot of great experiences.  On Wednesday our mission president and his wife tested positive for covid and they are super sick right now, I really hope that they will be okay. The new mission president is supposed to come in this week I think, and that's gonna be a big change. We were supposed to have a baptism this week but they canceled because they were sick. I feel like something always bad happens on those days to be honest. We rescheduled for wednesday this week, which my companion is super excited for.  We had tons of people cancel this week because of rain, the people hate rain here, it's really interesting. When it rains it either comes down really hard for like an hour, or it's a steady sprinkle the whole day. And humidity kinda sucks, when it's hot you go inside and you're still hot, and when it's cold it's...
